After you are put on the waiting list there is a 18-24 months wait.

There are 7 different types of dining areas, so you’re sure to find something that would suit your taste.

No, all the costs for all the rides are included in the ticket once you enter. You will not have to pay any extra charges for any of the rides.

Are pets allowed in the zoo?

No, they are not. There are also no pet boarding facilities available on zoo grounds. However, service animals are allowed.

The Lowry Park Zoo spreads across 56 acres of land, not only having a variety of mammals, birds, fishes, reptiles and amphibians, but it is also a conservation and home to the endangered wildlife. Blooming since the 1930s, the Lowry Park Zoo Association aided it to become one of the world class modern zoos which is now home to over 1200 animals and to numerous species.

In the Australian region visit the yellow-footed rock wallaby, koalas, assorted cockatoo and lorikeet, green tree python and other species of birds. In the Asian region, see the famous Malayan tiger, tapir, Great Indian Rhinoceros, Hornbill, clouded leopard, Bornean orangutan and the local birds and mammals. Hailing from South America and Africa are cownose stingray, boat-billed heron, common squirrel monkey, sloths, African elephants and penguins, martial eagle, pygmy hippopotamus, and other different types of toads and birds. From North America are alligator snapping turtle, American alligators and black bears, Atlantic stingray and Eastern Diamond back rattle snake, and these are only to name a few!
