About Pensacola

You can directly land in Pensacola International Airport through local or international flights which are very frequent. If you aren’t interested in arriving in flight, you can also reach Pensacola through Greyhound Bus Service.

Pensacola City is a city which is always full of life. From the hustle and bustle of the malls, to the brick paved sidewalks, the miles and miles of shoreline, museums, fine dining, festivals, concerts, and award-winning sugar-white beaches, you will never run out of interesting things to do while you are at this city.

You need to start with Pensacola Beaches. There a few different types of beaches here. If you are in a mood for gambling or socializing with people, you can visit the Casino Beach with the famous beach ball water tower, but if privacy is more your thing, then you need to visit the beach on Avenida 23, which is located a few miles down from Via de Luna Drive. In this beach you can get away from all the clamor and find an isolated spot to relax, with the sound of the waves gently crashing on the shore and the sweet chirping of the birds.

If you are willing to go sea-shell hunting, you might go to Perdido Key, which is located just west of Pensacola Beach. For a day of fun outdoor activities, you can go to Bayview Park, located near Bayou Texas. This 30-acre park consists a large boardwalk over the water, a pier for fishing, a kayaking site, an enclosed dry dog park, tennis courts, covered picnic tables, grill stations, playground and kid’s area, boat launches, and Pensacola’s only dog beach. You might also visit the historic Pensacola Lighthouse, St. Michael’s cemetery, and explore Edward Ball Nature Trail and Veteran’s memorial park while you are at it. For sports enthusiasts, scuba Diving for sunken ships, Paragliding, and Para-sailing are also something which might get your interest.

Here in Pensacola, you get access to a wide variety of fresh seafood. Many restaurants here use fresh-caught fish and shellfish in their meals. Red snapper, Gulf shrimp, and Mullet fish are this area’s specialty. The Fish House, Flounder’s Chowder House, and Peg Leg Pete’s McGuire’s Irish Pub & Brewery, are few of the amazing restaurants here you must try when you’re in Pensacola. These restaurants will certainly leave you craving for more.

Accommodation has never been a problem in this city. Best Western Plus Blue Angel Inn, Holiday Inn Pensacola-North Davis Highway, Courtyard by Marriott Pensacola, and Crowne Plaza Hotel Pensacola Grand are few of the amazing hotels in town. These hotels provide a proper value for money and their service is brilliant. You will feel at home while you are at these hotels.

All in all, Pensacola is a very appropriate travel destination with lot of adventure and unique experiences with proper accommodations and food.
