Description

Seaworld Orlando, the 10th most visited amusement park in the United States offers a total entertainment package; spanning over 200 acres of land with the most thrilling and adventurous rides and fascinating marine mammals, the park never fails your expectations of a fun filled summer vacation.

The park, as the name states, is situated in Orlando and the layout is such that each section within the park has a theme of its own and the areas are commonly termed as “seas”. The entrance, designed to capture the very essence of Florida, with a landscape featuring tropical lush, an artificial marina of freshwater, and a shamu-themed iconic lighthouse, only leaves the visitor imagining what exciting adventure awaits them beyond.

Sea Of Legends:

The first “sea” that the visitors encounter after crossing the entrance is the sea of shallows, home to a variety of shallow water sea animals. In addition, it includes a roller coaster, a turtle trek and a dome theatre. From there onwards, the visitors are acquainted with a series of legends and myths of the sea in the “sea of legends” along with a boat ride depicting the tale of Atlantis, the lost Empire.  The other “sea” areas include; Sea of Ice based on the continent of Antarctica which contains a trackless dark ride that enters into the exhibition of Penguins, Sea of delights representing seaside Mediterranean  village and includes most of the restaurants and gift shops, Sea of Mystery which consist of the underwater viewing of sharks, the sea garden and the Nautilus Theatre. Moreover, the park also has a “Sea” dedicated for children, known as the sea of fun which involves many familial activities and the visitors are graciously hosted by the park “Ocra mascot”. The last and the final “sea” is the “Sea of power”, which as the name suggests, is the area which holds exhibitions of one of the most powerful marine animal- the killer whale.

In addition, the sea of power also includes the wild arctic, a motion simulator and film themed attraction coupled with animal exhibitions such as beluga whales, polar bears, walruses, and harbor seals.

Some of the premier tours that are exclusive to the park itself consists of the dolphins, penguins, sea lions and wild arctic up close tours. Besides, rides and exhibitions, the park also hosts events pertaining to different yearly holidays such as 4th of July, Halloween, Christmas, etc.
