Frequently Asked Questions

What would be a good amount of time to spend in the park?

Around 4 hours should be enough to explore all their activities and rides. You should plan ahead and check out their show schedules if you want to stay on track. However, if you have small children or seniors with you then you should expect to spend more time.

Is it okay to bring snacks or food for the children?

Yes, visitors are allowed to bring their own food.

Can the children take pictures with the alligators while sitting on them? Is it safe?

Yes to both. Although the park has its own photographers and will be more than happy to take the pictures for you, if you would rather take your own pictures, that is allowed as well.

Is it safe for children to try the zip line? Are there adults to supervise and help?

Yes, it is perfectly safe. The staff are always available and do an extremely thorough job.

Are pictures included for the zip line or can I purchase them later on?

Pictures are not included in the activity, but you will be able to purchase them later on.

Can I bring my pets to the park?

Unless they’re service animals, it would not be wise to bring pets to the park. You wouldn’t want them to become gator food!

Can I buy my tickets at the entrance instead of online?

Yes you can. However, there might be a chance of the lines being extremely long, so it is better to purchase them online instead of at the location.

Does Gatorland offer air boat rides?

Unfortunately, they don’t.

How much does the train ride cost?

It only costs $2.00 per day for each person. You could also purchase it as a package deal if you get your tickets on the site along with many other rides.

Is the park too big for seniors to walk around?

You will need to walk quite a lot, however, you can always take the train which makes stops at either sides of the park. You could also rent a scooter rental if the train ride is just not enough.
